| Heavy Duty Flatdeck With Hoist |
This unit was designed for a fleet of F-750s hauling lumber from a lumberyard to different job-sites. Because not all sites were guaranteed to have a machine that could unload the lumber from the side, the unit had to have dumping capability. A specially installed electric winch also allowed large lumber pieces to be pulled onto the deck.
- Using a 22' wood floor deck ensured weight savings. When the deck was damaged, individual boards could be replaced.
- A reinforced bulkhead with mesh window was installed to protect the cab and serve as a mounting point for the electric winch.
- The hoist was powered by a PTO-driven hydraulic pump.
- Sliding cargo winches were installed on a track on the underside of the deck, allowing operators to adjust where straps were secured.
- Checkerplate aluminum toolboxes were mounted on brackets under the deck. These toolboxes provided secure storage for cargo straps and winch bars.
