| Wooden Floor Deck Bodies |
Wood floor decks offer weight savings and long service life. The tongue-and-groove floorboards are anchored into the cross members, making it easy to replace damaged or worn boards. These decks can be used with hoists, as they are structurally rigid. The steel structure is corrosion resistant, due to Knapheide's proprietary epoxy priming process.
- Headache racks and bulkheads are available in many sizes; they can be welded directly onto the deck or secured in the front stake pockets. Add-ons for headache racks include extra lighting and racking.
- Deck sides can be fit to changing needs. Removable stake sides, wood sides, solid sides, or swing down mesh sides are popular options for operators.
- Different end-gates are available for the deck rear. Popular options are removable stake-gates and flip-open gates.
- Towing skirts are available for different types of trailers.
- Toolboxes are available for mounting above-body, below-body, and as vertical cabinets.
- Wood floor decks are available in 8' to 24' lengths.
